LIFE AS AN AUTHOR:
Playing Pretend & Digging Up the Facts
45 minute presentation w/ a 15 minute Q&A session
I discuss of the importance of imagination and how I still play pretend. I also discuss why it’s important to pay attention and learn to enjoy homework. I’ll show examples of manuscripts in various stages of progress including errors, corrections and final copies. This visit is geared toward students in 5th – 8th grades.
$250.00 for a half day, plus travel expenses.
Includes two presentations and one copy of my latest book.

About the Author
Lisa Rondinelli Albert grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin where she spent many summer afternoons reading at Finney Library or on the steps of her front porch.
Along with writing nonfiction books, Lisa writes young adult and middle grade novels. She enjoys giving writing workshops and doing author visits.
When she’s not busy writing, Lisa spends time with her husband and two teenage children. She can often be found reading on her back porch.
